The fixture emits a glare-free, diffused light. The triple-layered opal glass provides a pleasant and uniform illumination of the area around the fixture. The lamp shade can be tilted 90 degrees to the right or left, which allows for flexible light distribution.

Finish
Matt black, wet painted or brushed brass with fine hairlines. White opal glass, glossy.
EU/UK/JP: Unlacquered brass which will develop a patina.
AU/KR/CN/JP/US: Clear lacquered brass.

Materials
Glass: Mouth-blown, 3-layered opal glass, glossy. Housing: Deep drawn aluminum or brass. Wall box: Die cast aluminum or forged brass. Please note the untreated brass will patinate.

Light source: G9

Mounting
Glass can be unscrewed to change the light source.
Cable type: Plastic cord. Black for black version and white on brass versions.
Cable length: 2.5 m.
Two options. With cable and on/off switch on cable or variant for ​mounting directly on power outlet with on/off on main switch.

Class: Ingress protection IP20.
With cable and plug: Electric shock protection II w/o ground.
For mounting directly on power outlet: Electric shock protection I w/ ground.

Vilhelm Lauritzen

Vilhelm Lauritzen (1894-1984) is the architect behind the Royal Danish Embassy in Washington, DC. He graduated as an architect from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture in Copenhagen. And in 1922 he established studio Vilhelm Lauritzen, which is still functioning today. Lauritzen has contributed to modernism in Danish architecture with a number of outstanding buildings, often with representative institutions of importance but also villas and apartment buildings.
