The Tired Man, Ottoman | Highlight image 1
The Tired Man Ottoman has been designed from Flemming Lassen's original armchair. The soft lines and round shapes from the armchair is continued in the Ottoman. Relaunched in 2015, the award-winning design is offered in plush sheepskin in a nod to the original, and with natural or dark-oiled oak heartwood legs and front brass casters for easy movement.

Flemming Lassen

Flemming Lassen

Flemming Lassen (1902-1984) was a Danish architect and one of the pioneers of Danish functionalism. He is best known for his buildings designed in collaboration with Arne Jacobsen as well as his internationally renowned furniture, some of which have been relaunched by the design company By Lassen founded by Lassen’s relatives. Flemming’s international breakthrough came at the end of 1920s when he won a competition with his design for the House of the Future created in collaboration with Arne Jacobsen. The two continued their partnership also later in their careers.
