The Eclipse Desk is a celebration of materials and form. Named after its concave and convex form that resembles the illuminated passage of celestial bodies in the sky, the Fred Rigby design has a distinctive, asymmetrical silhouette that invites to touch. Available in solid oak, dark-oiled oak and oiled natural oak with a black painted leg, the tabletop is fitted with a lid that lifts to reveal hidden storage within the supportive steel column, ensuring desk space remains free of clutter. Designed to stand alone as a centrepiece in the middle of a room or for placement up against a wall as a more conventional piece of home office furniture, its intriguing form draws the eye.

Fred Rigby Studio is a London-based furniture and interior design practice founded by Fred Rigby in 2008. The independent studio works across scales from complete interiors to sculptural yet functional furniture that adds playfulness, presence and comfort to everyday life. The studio’s designs are characterised by organic shapes, natural symbolism and earthy materials to provide a strong connection to nature indoors.
