Patricia Urquiola

Patricia Urquiola was born in Oviedo, Spain in 1961, studied Architecture at Madrid Polytechnic and Milan Polytechnic and graduated with Achille Castiglioni. Experiened as an assistant lecturer to Achille Castiglioni and Eugenio Bettinelli in Milan and Paris, Responsible for the new product development office of DePadova. she also worked with Vico Magistretti as head of Lissoni Associati’s design group. In 2001, opened her own studio, designing for the most important Italian and international companies. Some of her products are exhibited in museums and she received numerous design awards.
