The fixture is designed based on the principle of a reflective three-shade system, which directs the majority of the light downwards. The shades are made of mouthblown opal three-layer glass, which is shiny on the top and sandblasted matt on the inside, giving a soft and diffuse light distribution.

Finish: White opal glass. High lustre chrome plated.

Shades: Mouth-blown white opal glass.
Top plate: High lustre chrome plated, spun brass.
Wall box: High lustre chrome plated, spun brass.
Arm: High lustre chrome plated, brass.

Light source:1x40W E14

Mounting: Mounting with cable or directly on power outlet.
With cable: Cable with plug cable length: 2.9 m.
Light control: On/off switch on wall box.
Without cable: Wall bracket for mounting directly on power outlet.
Light control: Two options. Either with on/off switch on wall box or without switch on wall box with turn on/off at main power outlet.

Class: Ingress protection IP20.
With cable and plug: Electric shock protection II w/o ground.
For mounting directly on power outlet: Electric shock protection I w/ ground.

Poul Henningsen

Poul Henningsen was born in Copenhagen by the famous Danish writer. He never graduated as an architect, but studied at The Technical School at Frederiksberg, and then at Technical College in Copenhagen. He started practicing traditional functionalistic architecture, but over the years his interests focus mainly on lighting. He is the legendary creator of the lighting series carrying his name; PH. He can be said to be the world’s first lighting architect. PH devoted his entire career to investigating the importance of light for our well being.
