The fixture emits a glare-free, soft and comfortable illumination. The metal shade versions direct the light directly downwards and create a pleasant illumination due to the inner white painted shade and the reflection from the trumpet shaped stem. The opal acrylic version leaves a diffuse comfortable light atmosphere due to the translucent shade, the downward reflection from the inner shade and the reflection from the trumpet stem.

White opal acrylic shade with white stand.
Gray opal acrylic shade with high-luster chrome stand.
High-luster chrome shade and stand.
Metalized brass shade and stand.

Shade: Injection moulded white opal acrylic or deep drawn steel.
Base and Housing: Cast aluminium.
Diffuser: Injection moulded opal pmma.

Verner Panton

Among the giants of Danish design, Verner Panton (1926-1998) established a unique reputation for his exuberant originality and tireless experimentation. Panton created lamps, furniture and textiles – and was also a sought-after interior designer. Although he was at the forefront of mid-century Danish Modern, Panton’s contribution was anything but mainstream.
