Designed in 1997, Morten Gøttler's elegant Cuba Chair is a good example of the Scandinavian design heritage and the careful balancing of clarity of form and function. The chair, which after just a couple of decades has become a true classic, is now being introduced in a new variant with the seat and back in paper cord, giving the Cuba Chair an even lighter and more refined expression.

Cuba chair is also available in a cotton webbing version and an outdoor version.

Morten Gøttler

Morten Gøttler (b. 1944, in Copenhagen), opened his own design studio in 1972, worked in a wide range of genres, including domestic art, packaging, toys, graphics and lighting for Danish and international companies. In 1984, He decided to focus primarily on furniture design, using an approach rooted in the modern Scandinavian design tradition and the strong belief that innovation is the foundation for successful design. Gøttler’s clean, easy aesthetic characterized by well-thought-out form, exquisite comfort, and close attention to detail are all brought to life using high-quality materials.
