Yaacov Kaufman
Yaacov Kaufman was born in 1945 in the former USSR. After spending some years in Poland (1945-1957), he moved to Israel. Today he lives in Tel Aviv and works in Jerusalem and Milan. He obtained his degree in Sculpture at the Bat Yam Institute of Art. He has been teaching industrial design at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem since 1994. Kaufman won some design prizes, like the Norwegian Design Council Prize and the Red Dot Award.
