Winner of the grand prize at the 2017 International Furniture Design Asahikawa (IFDA) competition for its "evolutionary and fresh" design, KORENTO chairs are crafted from Hokkaido oak and are available as both armchairs and side chairs.

Mikko Halonen

Mikko Halonen (s. 1976) studied furniture design in the Lahti Institute of Design and Fine Art and in the Helsinki University. He started working as a freelance designer in 2002. He finished a Master’s Degree at The School of Arts, Design and Architecture, Aalto University in 2010. In his works Halonen concentrates on ethical and aesthetic perspectives.
