Product Material
Shell - Fiber Side Chair without upholstery: The plastic of the shell is made using minimum 80% recycled plastic. The plastic is mixed with up to 25% FSC™️ (FSC-C028824) certified wood fibers. The shell of the Fiber Side Chair is made of plastic that is climate compensated. Shell - Upholstered variants: Shell in plastic composition with up to 25% wood fibers. Base: Tube base in powder coated steel. For Stained Dark Brown version only: Please note that slight color variations can occur due to the inherent characteristics of the material.
Powder Coated Steel
Steel is an alloy of iron with carbon. Powder coated steel has a subtle, textured expression and elegant feel while adding durability to the design and making it more resistant to corrosion. Powder coated steel is also highly chip resistant.
Wood and Recycled Plastic Composite
An innovative composite of recycled plastic (minimum 80% is recycled) and FSC™️ (FSC-C028824) certified wood fibers specially developed for the the Fiber Chair series. Up to 25 % of composite consists of wood fibers, which gives the shell a uniquely deep surface and soft, matte touch. Though invisible to the eye when viewed from afar, the natural details of the wood fibers are revealed when viewing the design up-close. Note that slight variations in the surface may occur due to the inherent characteristics of the material.

ISKOS — BERLIN Design is a partnership of Boris Berlin and Aleksej Iskos. The company works within the fields of industrial, furniture and graphic design. The firm was only established in late 2010, but Boris and Aleksej have been working together for a number of years.
