Since their debut in 1949 as part of an Eames exhibit the Detroit Institute of Arts, Eames Storage Units have been described as "working art." Stacked two by two, this model offers plenty of practical storage—and plenty of aesthetic options.

This storage unit is available in 1, 2, or 4 units high and 1 or 2 units wide with 5 configurations of shelves, drawers, and enclosed storage for books or binders. Some units have dimpled plywood doors; plywood drawer units and shelves; painted side and back panels; and steel uprights, cross supports, and perforated panels. The storage unit has adjustable glides.
