The main features of the new CONSTANTINO EASY CHAIR, which is an evolution from the more generous dimensions of the CONSTANTINO ARMCHAIR presented last year, are the great comfort and the refinement of its sinuous lines. Designed by Shinsaku Miyamoto, this armchair is characterised by its tapered structure and enveloping padding, which create an effect of extraordinary elegance. The inclination of the backrest and the seat, combined with the curvature of the armrests, further amplifies the feeling of comfort. Capable of adding a distinctive trait even to large environments, the CONSTANTINO EASY CHAIR has a solid walnut or oak wood structure, which can be left in a natural finish or finished with the intense Sohboku and Gen colours applied with a process that enhances the grain of the wood. Sohboku is a deep blue, almost black, that gently and gradually becomes lighter from the inside of the wood to the outside, creating shades that echo the movement of the sea. Gen is a warm brown, close to ebony, which evokes the shades of the sky after sunset. The backrest and seat padding is molded in different densities, and the upholstery in leather, thick leather, or fabric, made by the company’s skilled in-house upholsterers, provide ergonomic support and long-lasting comfort. The thick leather armrest is hand-stitched, adding both pleasantness to the support and creating a sophisticated decorative note. In the leather version, on the other hand, the armrest is piped for a more rigorous effect.
