Exploring the boundaries between art and design, the 9.5° Chair is a result of studying Plato’s notion of the ideal chair. Subject to a creative process of experimentation, the 9.5° Chair transcends our expectations, becoming more than a simple form that follows function.

Featured as the museum chair at Knut Hamsun Museum in Norway.
Part of the permanent collection at Trapholt Museum in Denmark.
Won the award “Furniture of the year” in 2014.

Rasmus B. Fex

Rasmus Bækkel Fex is the furniture designer who takes a highly conceptual approach to his work. He graduated his MFA from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art, School of Design in 2012 with additional studies at Konstfack in Stockholm. Besides working with self-initiated projects in his studio in Copenhagen, he designs industrial produced furnitures for some companies. In 2014, He was the co-founder of the RE F O R M Design Biennale, a curated exhibition showcasing cutting edge design.
