Created from a late 17th century drawing, Cardinal flatware is typical of the classical style, and yet stands out for its sophisticated modernity. It features a spearhead-shaped support extending from the base of the tines and on the bowl of the spoon, a silversmith's flourish sometimes known as a “rat's tail.” As for the knife, it draws inspiration from the silhouette of hunting knives, with its curved blade and rounded handle embellished with a stud on the end.
The silver-plated Cardinal collection is a spin-off of Richelieu flatware, fashioned in sterling silver.
