‘Cala’ is a high backed armchair inspired by the iconic Emanuelle. The chair has a majestic spatial presence with transparent and light surfaces. The open weave of the rope provides a latticed window for visual privacy while maintaining a connection to the natural elements. ‘Cala’ may be used for outdoor dining as well as a chair to lounge in. The wide selection of metal coatings, rope colours and cushion fabrics offer many possibilities to tailor the identity of the chair to suit different projects. Cala’s seat frame is made from coated aluminium sections. The weave is knitted rope. The chair comes with two options of teak legs or an aluminium pedestal base.

Cala collection includes a dining chair, a series of tables, low footstools, two and three seater sofa. The dining table has a monolithic and bold presence, providing contrast to the lightness of the chairs. The same frame construction can be recognised in the low tables and foot stools.
