“I absolutely love the Adele Writing Desk for its unexpected combination of graceful softness and the strength of steel,” Booth says of the new piece. “It’s a balancing act. I wanted the legs to have very fine curves, almost animated, and finished with pieds-de-biche feet. We needed the steel rod to support the delicate curves practically, but visually it’s such a stunning juxtaposition. Crafted in American Walnut veneers and solids with Browned Steel leg posts. One drawer with Soft-Close guides. Truffle with Browned Steel supports is the standard finish. Optional finishes not available on metal.
